Conditions governing access to and use of the MeesoLux website and educational simulation platform.

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the MeesoLux website located at meesoluxmx.com and the associated educational financial simulation platform (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Platform. MeesoLux is operated by MeesoLux, with address at Priv Rafael Ramírez 2, Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.
MeesoLux is an educational simulation platform. All financial transactions, balances, budgets, income, expenses, savings, debts, and other financial elements within the simulation are entirely virtual and have no monetary value of any kind. No real money is involved at any stage of participation. The Platform does not constitute a financial service, investment service, banking service, or any other regulated financial activity under Mexican law, including the Ley del Mercado de Valores, the Ley de Instituciones de Crédito, or any other applicable financial regulation. MeesoLux does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or any form of personalized financial guidance.
The Platform is designed exclusively for educational purposes: to help students develop awareness of personal finance concepts through a structured simulation experience. Results generated within the simulation are educational outputs only and should not be interpreted as financial advice, financial assessments, or predictions of real-world financial outcomes.
The Platform is intended for use by high school and university students, educators, and educational institutions. Access to the simulation component of the Platform is provided through educational institutions that have arranged participation with MeesoLux. Individual students access the simulation through their institution's cohort. The informational website at meesoluxmx.com is publicly accessible without registration.
Users who are minors must participate through their educational institution, and participation implies that the institution has obtained any necessary parental or guardian consent required under applicable Mexican law. MeesoLux relies on educational institutions to ensure compliance with consent requirements for minor participants.
Users may access and use the Platform only for its intended educational purpose. You agree not to use the Platform in any way that violates applicable Mexican law or international law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems, to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or the experience of other users, to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without authorization, to use automated tools to access or interact with the Platform, or to submit false or misleading information through any form or registration process. Violation of these conditions may result in suspension of access.
All content on the MeesoLux website and Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, simulation design, scenario content, curriculum materials, and software, is the property of MeesoLux or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for its intended educational purpose. This license does not include the right to reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written authorization from MeesoLux.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MeesoLux makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. MeesoLux does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. MeesoLux does not warrant that the educational outcomes described in Platform materials will be achieved by any particular user or group of users.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Mexican law, MeesoLux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Platform. MeesoLux's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for informational convenience only. MeesoLux has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Accessing third-party links from the Platform is at your own risk.
MeesoLux reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any part of it at any time without notice. MeesoLux also reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after modifications are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the Platform.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States, specifically including the Código Civil Federal and applicable federal legislation. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.
